This series dives into six specific animal hunts, providing hi/lo information for a wide range of readers. The reviewer received and reviewed the titles Deer Hunting and Turkey Hunting. Deer Hunting dives into one of the most popular hunting animals. This book provides information on what deer hunting is, rules, how and where, as well as other interesting pieces of information about the hunting sport and deer themselves. Turkey Hunting provides similar information as the Deer Hunting book does, but specifically about the turkey! In addition to the information provided, photographs, maps, and other resources to explore are included. THOUGHTS: This series is easy to read, but contains information that a wide range of students would be interested in. The photographs and visuals are superb, allowing readers to ‘read’ information in a variety of formats.
