ReviewedFoxes are notorious backyard thieves in children’s stories. But beginning readers can learn the real facts on these clever mammals through easy text and crisp photos in this low-level title. Simple features including food sidebars and a labeled fox diagram reinforce the text to aid in comprehension.
'This series set of 6 titles offers an introduction to common critters found right in one’s own backyard! Beginning and early readers will find easy to comprehend facts about a range of common critters in an approachable format. The included color photos bring the reader up close to rabbits, squirrels, and much more! Each title encourages young minds to look closer at the nature they see around them each day and inspires curiosity to learn more about the animals that make a home in their backyard. The inclusion of a glossary, additional resources, and an index make this series a real catch!', Nicole Welle, K-12 Teacher Librarian, Educator Review
