'The Shark Frenzy series grabs kids’ attention with the bright pictures and the motivating cover photos. The set includes 8 different sharks: Angel Sharks, Blue Sharks, Great White Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Mako Sharks, Oceanic Whitetip Sharks, Sand Tiger Sharks and Whale Sharks. The books are Blastoff! Readers level 3 and are recommended for readers in Grade 1-3. Kindergarten readers would be drawn to these books by the photos as well. The limited text would be easily handled by adults reading the text to them. The books are all packed with attention grabbing text features. The graphs, charts, diagrams and maps are easily read and interpreted by the young readers. The photos and color scheme makes this a book that would be selected by children looking for just the right book. Each book includes a Deep Dive section that includes life span, length, weight, top speed, depth range and conservation status. These facts are just what young readers are looking for and the data is shared in an easily accessible format for young readers.
