What We Learn at School

What We Learn at School introduces emergent readers to school subjects such as reading, math, art, and music, while providing them with a supportive first nonfiction reading experience. Carefully crafted text uses high-frequency words, repetitive sentence patterns, and strong visual references to support emergent readers, while vibrant photos make learning easy and fun.

What We Learn at School includes Tools for Teachers and Caregivers and a Let’s Review! question and image, as well as introductory nonfiction features such as labels, a table of contents, and an index.
