Position Overview
Are you a passionate advocate for education and literacy? Do you excel at developing and executing awareness and lead-generating campaigns? Do you thrive on building programs, processes, and systems from the ground up? We’re seeking a savvy Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll lead efforts to promote the FlutterBee story and show how we can help educators in school libraries, classrooms, and district offices across the U.S. drive literacy, support instruction, and foster a culture of reading in their schools.
Your Mission
- Hive Mind Marketing: Impact sales results by developing, supporting, and executing marketing programs that align with our strategic objectives.
- Content Creator Extraordinaire: Create buzz-worthy content such as landing pages, blogs, case studies, newsletters, and more to drive engagement. Use an array of tactics (email, web, direct mail, events, etc.) to keep our hive thriving!
- Tech-Savvy Bumblebee: Develop, communicate, and maintain standards and processes across our marketing tech stack (CRM, etc.).
- Buzz about our brand and story! Maintain brand standards and tone across all communication channels.
- Data Detective: Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather, analyze, and report important data (social media, web analytics, rankings).
- Customer Connection: Champion the voice of our customers, ensuring our products meet their needs.
- Sales Collaboration: Work effectively with the sales team on lead harvesting and nurturing strategies, along with territory-specific marketing plans.
- Trend Setter: Stay current with marketing trends and the needs of our customers/market. Let’s stay one step ahead of the competition!
- Team Player: Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments.
- Event Representative: Represent FlutterBee at both virtual and in-person events
What You Bring
- Over 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in educational publishing or EdTech
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, education, or a related field
- Tech-Savvy Bumblebee: Develop, communicate, and maintain standards and processes across our marketing tech stack (CRM, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, combined with a customer-first attitude and a strong ability to advocate for the brand
- Proficient with CRM software and marketing platforms, with preference given to experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and/or NetSuite
- A self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A passion for education and literacy, along with a keen understanding of the K-12 landscape
- Strong time management skills to effectively juggle tasks and meet deadlines
- A balance of creative and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information effectively

Position Overview
FlutterBee Education Group is seeking motivated Inside Sales Account Executives who are passionate about education and literacy. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling our wide range of educational products to schools and districts for use in both the classroom and libraries. You will identify and engage prospective clients, manage existing relationships, and work towards expanding FlutterBee's footprint in the K-12 educational space.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with schools, districts, and libraries to promote FlutterBee’s educational content and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and educators
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals
- Develop strategies to exceed sales goals, expand market share, and drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to stay informed about new releases, promotions, and market trends
- Regularly update CRM systems with accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting data
- Attend virtual or in-person conferences, webinars, and sales events to represent FlutterBee and engage with potential clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, education, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in educational publishing, EdTech, or a related industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Proficiency with CRM software and virtual sales tools
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for education and literacy, with an understanding of the K-12 landscape
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
